This is by far the hardest product description I've ever had to write. You see, I am all too familiar with Alzheimer's disease and its effect on the person who has it and how it impacts the family and friends around them.
My mom was diagnosed with Early Onset Alz in 2014 and had to move in with me in 2019, due to complications of having a couple of strokes and it progressing her alzheimer's.
It's heart breaking to see one of the people you love the most in the world, lose fragments of who they are. It brings on loneliness and grief that doesn't seem to end. It's generally a slow process and it's much harder on the caregivers - because we see our loved ones slowly disappear.
This pin was created to honor the ones we love. Cherish the person they were before this disease had a hold and grasp on tight to the moments of happiness you experience now.
